When I look at the landsape it is a patchwork of textures and patterns. 'Red House' explores this, using collage to build up the layers of the landscape. I came across this landscape when it was sprinkled with a dust of snow in early spring. The light was tinged with red which caught on the trees giving them a pink hue.
The piece is in greys and aqua with highlights of red and pink. Created using ink, collage with painted and repurposed papers and stitch. My contemporary landscapes reflect the vibrancy of nature and the joy of the seasons.
Printed to order. Please allow two weeks for UK delivery. Orders will be sent packaged in a tube due to size restrictions. You'll need to carefully unpack it when it arrives and place the print under some books until it is flat again for framing.
